Meet Luke
Starting in the construction industry as an apprentice in 2009, Luke has built up significant experience across fire protection and electrical contracting. One of three founding directors of WSD, he leads on quotations, design and the day-to-day running of the business.
Starting in the construction industry as an apprentice in 2009, Luke has built up significant experience and knowledge across fire protection and electrical contracting. In September 2021 he co-founded WSD with Ben South and Stuart Dodson, the three of them setting out to build a contractor where every discipline stays in-house and every project stays close to the directors running it.
Luke leads on quotations, design and the day-to-day running of WSD’s business operations from the Bromsgrove office. As much as the role keeps him close to the desk, he still makes a point of getting out to site to assist with project completion and commissioning, which keeps him directly connected to the work the engineering teams deliver.
“It has been a great achievement to see the business grow in the way that it has since 2021, and this couldn’t have been achieved without the hard work and support received from everybody within the business and all other stakeholders. Our targets and goals for the company are still very much in progress, and I am very much looking forward to seeing further growth and success in the future.”
In his free time, Luke enjoys working out, spending time with family and friends, and every now and then getting out to play golf.
