Meet The Team
WSD is led by three founding directors, each with over a decade of fire and electrical industry experience before starting the company in September 2021. Together they oversee project delivery, commercial operations and maintenance across every WSD project.
Behind the directors, WSD employs a team of engineers, technicians and support staff delivering projects in-house across the UK. Every WSD project is staffed by our own people; we don’t subcontract specialist disciplines out.
The directors
Luke Wellings
DirectorStarting in the construction industry as an apprentice in 2009, Luke has built up significant experience across fire protection and electrical contracting. One of three founding directors of WSD, he leads on quotations, design and the day-to-day running of the business.
Ben South
DirectorBen started in the sprinkler industry in 2006 and is one of three founding directors of WSD. He heads the maintenance division, overseeing the planned servicing and reactive support that keeps client fire and life safety systems compliant across the UK.
Stuart Dodson
DirectorStuart started in the industry in 2007 and qualified as an electrician in 2011. One of three founding directors at WSD, he has an appetite for the biggest projects and the highest standard of install.
